Our theme this year is “Farm to Table to School.” We have a delicious line up of courses this year featuring locally sourced ingredients and local chefs. Some very special historic homes on the hill will be included on this tour this year too!
What is it?
It’s a van tour of Mt. Washington homes in which each home features a different course. Four homes, four courses (drinks included).
What’s for Dinner?
Assorted appetizers provided by local chefs from Cookbook in Echo Park
Savory tarts and tapas from local kitchen healer Jules Davis
A Paella Throwdown between two Mt. Washington School parents ~ Julia Albee and Los Angeles Firefighter & Chef Mauricio Bernard (check out Mo Bernard at http://www.firemansbrew.com/firemans-brew-on-nbc4-today-in-l-a)
Perfect Pecan Bars Vanilla-Sugar Twist cookies, Honey-Oatmeal Drop Cookies, Devilishly Moist Chocolate Cake served with fresh fruit and whipped cream compliments of Karen Schweitzer and Jason Lippman.
