About Mt. Washington Elementary PTA
The Mt. Washington Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (MWPTA) is a nonprofit organization that brings together parents, teachers, and members of the administration to advocate for our school’s children, enrich their educational experience, and uphold the PTA motto: “Every Child, One Voice.”
We organize parent and community volunteers and host a wide range of fun, community-building events for students and their families throughout the year. We offer affordable after-school programs to enrich your child’s academic, creative and social experience, and provide many different ways for parents to participate in school life.
Perhaps most importantly, through membership dues and fundraising, we provide financial support to pay for teachers’ assistants, physical education, art and drama programs as well as emotional support opportunities for our students.
We are working hard to ensure many of these opportunities are available online and/or follow safe social distancing guidelines for the coming school year.
Please join the MWPTA and stay active! MWPTA is a membership organization – we need YOU in order to fulfill our mission. Attend our five virtual membership meetings throughout the year, volunteer to help out with committees and virtual events, and connect with the Mt. Washington Elementary School community.
Welcome to the Mt. Washington Elementary Team – we’re so happy you’re here!
