Before School, During School and Dismissal

Every Monday, families are invited to attend the school assembly held in the big yard (downhill from the main gates). While students must sit with classmates and teachers (and parents stay in the sidelines), assemblies are a community tradition at the school—and a great way to stay updated on what's going on. Note: if school is closed on a Monday, there will be no open assembly the next day.

Other than these Monday assemblies, Mt. Washington Elementary is a closed campus so parents and caregivers are only allowed to drop-off and pick-up at their child's designated gate (the blue gates for UTK + K; and the main gates for grades 1–6).

All students must be picked up at dismissal unless your child is enrolled in an aftercare or after-school enrichment activity. Learn more about after school options here.

 7:45 – 8:10 am  Everything opens!
